Matt Howson

Matt graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a First-Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy in 2017 and has had a diverse career to date, initially working as a rotational physiotherapist for the NHS in Cardiff for 2 years before working in several specialist roles including falls, paediatric major trauma, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Matt’s career has spanned working with neonates to nursing homes; from paediatric intensive care to running a falls prevention clinic. He has experience in treating both paediatric and adult orthopaedic and traumatic injuries as well as longer term neurological conditions like Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

Outside of his career Matt enjoys keeping fit and playing football. This is most likely where his interest in the rehabilitation of sports injuries comes from as he seems to pick up a new injury every weekend!
