Chris McCarthy

Chris is a Physiotherapist with extensive experience in musculoskeletal conditions and in providing personalised care, follow up advice and exercise progressions. In addition, he has contributed to the growth and success of two physiotherapy practices, resulting in a wide variety of clinical practice. Whilst working privately and with his continued commitment to CPD activity and external courses, he has developed many transferable skills, sharing his private work with a full-time position in the NHS as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist. Chris has worked as a Senior Physiotherapist within orthopaedics and for many rugby clubs in the past and is currently working alongside specialist knee Orthopaedic Consultants to provide acute injury management.

Chris is currently working towards an MSc (Physiotherapy) in Cardiff University.

AACP Acupuncture accredited

Extensive experience in specialist hands-on skills

Extensive experience working within sport whether its to rehabilitate a sports athlete or for Sunday park run!

Chris has always liked to remain active, and regularly attends the gym. He has played field hockey for the best part of 20 years.

In his spare time, he enjoys socialising with friends and family, hiking, fishing and spending time in his garden.
