Not all physiotherapy is the same. Don’t compromise. Choose PPPphysio

Reasons to choose PPPpilates:

Our Physiotherapy led APPI Pilates classes are taken by Samantha Owen and Kate Walters.

1: An extremely experienced PPP physiotherapist teaches the class which means they can advise you appropriately if you are recovering from pain or injury.

2: If you have got back pain, have had back pain in the past and want to prevent re-occurrance or have never had back pain but want to do as much as possible to prevent it, PPPpilates is perfect.

3: Small class sizes.  We will never run a class with more that 12 people to allow each class member sufficient support and input.

4: An appropriate level of Pilates class for your individual circumstances and needs (fitness/flexibility/age/pain/diagnosis/Pilates experience)

5: A really friendly and welcoming atmosphere in a great central Penarth location.

Individual 1:1 Pilates sessions are available with Kate in PPPphysio Penarth and are charged at £40 for an hour long session.

A 1:1 session is not a prerequisite for our Foundation Classes although it is recommended if you have never done Pilates before to make sure that you get the maximum benefit from our classes.

Kate can do small group sessions of 1:2 or 1:3 at PPPphysio Penarth if required.

Courses will follow the local school term times and will not take place during school holidays however we may run courses during the summer holidays.

Kate qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of the West of England in 2008 and started in the musculoskeletal outpatients setting within the NHS. It was here that her APPI pilates journey began in 2009. Having done the full matwork APPI Series and running low back pain classes, she became APPI certified in 2012. Following this she has continued to build her pilates repertoire with regular courses and running weekly classes for a local charity. Kate then joined the PPP team in 2017 and has enjoyed watching the pilates community in Penarth grow with the variety of classes they now offer.

The range of pilates Kate can offer include:

- APPI Matwork beginner to advanced classes

- APPi 3D standing pilates

- APPi HIT pilates
