Meet The Team Barry

James Smith

James qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Plymouth in 2008. After gaining wide ranging experience rotating within the NHS he specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 2011. Since then he has held specialist roles in Morriston hospital and the Princess of Wales hospital in Bridgend as part of the shoulder and spinal services respectively. James has also taught musculoskeletal assessment on the Medicine program at Swansea University medical school.

James has continually developed his skills through post graduate training, which include spinal manipulations, acupuncture, joint and soft tissue mobilisations and x-ray interpretation. He is currently studying for a Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Cardiff.
